A lovely antique or vintage Sarreguemines pottery part coffee set comprising 6 coffee cups, 6 saucers, a coffee pot and a cream jug. The set is transfer printed with adorable "happy Alsace" scenes by Henri Loux. Made by Obernai Faienceries, marked as shown and signed by Henri Loux. Henri Loux designed patterns for Utzschneider & Cie (manufacturer of Obernai faience) between 1902 and 1906. Condition: there is a chip and a hairline to the pot lid, a small firing fault to the glaze on the cream jug, a small hairline to one coffee cup and minor discolourations and crazing commensurate with age and use.
