¶ Leni Riefenstahl (1902-2003) is known for her book "Kampf in Schnee und Eis" and her work for the NSDAP. In the 1960s, she became interested in Africa where she photographed Nuba tribes with whom she sporadically lived, learning about their culture so she could photograph them more easily.
