Superb sounding vintage speakers in excellent condition and perfect working order. DM4s are great value, being similar to the Spendor BC1 and the BBC approved LS3/6, which typically sell for at least twice the price. Indeed some people rate the DM4 higher, although I haven't had the chance to compare directly. The DM4s use the the same Coles super tweeter and Celestion HF1300 combination as those esteemed designs. These are the later iteration with black bass driver surrounds and veneered front baffle. Overall the best pair of DM4s I have seen. The drivers on this pair all appear to be original and are in perfect working order. Overall condition is excellent but there are some minor signs of use and you would expect at this age. The sound superb, with a lovely warm, traditional British hifi balance, superb midrange and sweet top end. The bass is surprisingly well extended, and overall they are a speaker the are involving but you can enjoy for hours on end without fatigue.
