"Bavarian porcelain" is a type of porcelain created with the same artisan technique since the mid
18th century.
The name comes from the German region of Bavaria from which it originates, at the behest of the ruling house. This German region is rich in kaolin mines, and even today porcelain constitutes a typical artisan product.
