HRASARKOS (Hrair Sarkis Keusseyan) was born 19th May 1975 in Allaverdi in Armenia, in the family of sculptor and painter Robert Keusseyan. He spent his childhood in the midst of painters, sculptors, graphic artists, musicians.
He studied at the school of music and fine arts of the city of Abovyan.
He looked for artistic inspiration in various cities of the former USSR, where next to a decadent art arises a mass of new trends. He returned to Armenia, dividing his time between television studios as host and the Municipal Theatre of puppets as painter-decorator and creator of characters and masks, he discovered the secrets of the Visual art techniques in the restoration lab of the national Museum of Yerevan.
He held his first exhibition at the Museum of the city of Abovyan on April 14th, 1996, the same year he moved to France. He created works that go beyond their frames, such as ‘Désir’ and ‘Grande pass’. Figurative works that symbolize the connection between the pictorial world and the real world.
Many exhibitions. In 1998, he won the Grand Prix International of Carry-le-Rouet with the audience award and the Medal of the city for his work ‘Désir’.
