It measures 120x118 cm. Representation of the Nativity scene.
Artwork of Florio Fedi, 1997.
Florio, along with an unquenchable passion for the great Renaissance art, spent his teenage years in Rome, the city of La Dolce Vita.
Later he experienced various forms of art: graphic designer in advertising, interior designer, painter, sculptor, finally ceramist. He discovered ceramics after reading the biography of Anni & Joseph Albers, the founders of the Bauhaus, archaeologists and experts of Columbian pottery. Florio visited their museum in Germany and then he flew to Colombia to witness what they had discovered.
He then pioneered a new technique called “Buried Art”. This is to create artistic vases, tract is in fragments, bury them and put them back together afterwards as new and unique masterpieces. The circle of life including the resurrection.
Art critics, collectors and gallery owners have amply written about him. All have come to the same conclusion: Florio Fedi is totally unique
P.S.: some breakage or chipping, present and visible in the photos, do not compromise the value of the work
